Obituary of Mary Kathleen Hicken

Mary Kathleen Hicken, of Calgary, passed away at the Bow Crest Nursing Home on Monday, February 2, 2004 at the age of 91 years. Mary was born March 20, 1912 in Coleman, AB. She married George Hicken on August 16, 1934 and they resided in Hillcrest until coming to Calgary in 1940 where she has since resided. Mary was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Women’s League. Mary is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Alfred and Donna of High River and Robert and Doreen of Medicine Hat; two daughters and sons-in-law Louise and Ronald Wells and Patricia and Vic Mroszczak all of Calgary; as well as thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her husband George on April 15, 1990. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (404 Northmount Place N.W.) on Thursday, February 5, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (404 Northmount Place N.W.) on Friday, February 6, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. A. Wayne Poile Presider.
