Obituary of Joe Gook Soo

Joe Soo passed away peacefully at the Rosedale Hospice surrounded by his family on Friday, January 30, 2004 at the age of 72 years. Joe is survived by his loving wife Jenny; daughter Carol and son-in-law Al; son David and his “grand-dog” Chynna. He will be remembered for his love of family and friends and enjoyment of the outdoors. At the request of Joe, there will be no formal service. Relatives and friends are invited to a gathering at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North), on Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. for a celebration of Joe’s life. The family would like to express their special thanks to Dr. Scot Dowden, Carol and Wendy and his team of nurses at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. Also, our thanks to Alison from the Home Care Response Team and to the wonderful and caring nurses, caregivers and volunteers at the Rosedale Hospice.
