Obituary of Elizabeth Foulston

Elizabeth (Peggy) Foulston of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Southwood Care Centre on Thursday, January 22, 2004 at the age of 86 years. Granny was born on February 28, 1917 in England. She immigrated to Canada in 1927 and resided in Alberta and British Columbia. Granny met many wonderful people including her long-time friend, Mr. Wilf Carter. “Granny” is survived by a daughter Gail (Frank) Cullen; five grandchildren, Tom, Dennis, Shane (Janis), Susan (Kevin) Carlson, and Arlene (Terry) Potter; and five great-grandchildren, Taylor, Adam, Sarah, Kirby, and Marcus. Granny was predeceased by the man who called her “My beautiful brown eyes,” Fred Foulston on January 21, 1980. As per Granny’s request no Funeral Services will be held, she wanted to be remembered as she was. She will join Fred in the Field of Honour at Queen’s Park Cemetery with a Private Family Graveside Service. To forward condolences go to www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
