Obituary of Louise Julia Roppel

Louise Julia Roppel of Rockyford passed away at the Strathmore Hospital on Thursday, January 22, 2004 at the age of 87 years. Louise enjoyed gardening, crocheting, knitting, traveling, and music. She played the organ for over thirty years at the Rockyford United Church. Louise is survived by a son Gordon (Debbie) of Calgary and a daughter Cindy (David) of Minto, NB; ten grandchildren, Tammy, Charlene, Danny, Shane, Benjamin, David, Dale, Kim, Brandy, and Danielle; and nine great-grandchildren, Monique, Tiffany, Brooke, Heath, Stephen, Alex, Devon, Isabelle, and Ethan. She is also survived by a sister Helen Marten; sister-in-law Opal Bensted; nephew Wayne Wise; and nieces, Karen Kathol and Brenda (Rob) Damon. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Roppel, son Ronald, brother Bill Bensted, and niece Laura Wise.
