Condolences
Many times over the past few years I had wondered about Chantelle. I rode the bus with her between Mount Royal College and downtown Calgary and we struck up a quick friendship. I found her to be sincere, thoughtful and kind to everyone regardless of their circumstance. I have a full-time disability and use crutches to walk but Chantelle saw me as the person I am and always treated me well. One day over lunch she told me about her diagnosis and unfortunately I never saw her again after that point as he treatments began. It wasn’t until tonight that I realized she fought courageously until the end. I don’t know who will see this note but if by chance someone does, I want you to know that Chantelle left an impression on my mind that still exists today. She was a sweet and loving person with great courage.
