Obituary of Cat Face

Dorothy-Ann Cat Face (nee Drunken Chief) (Na Toa’ Saki), beloved wife of Lloyd Cat Face of Siksika Nation, AB, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Centre on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at the age of 55 years. Dorothy will be remembered for her great sense of humour and strong faith. She made her cursillo in June of 1989. Besides her loving husband of forty years, Lloyd Cat Face, Dorothy is survived by her beloved children, Jackie, Debbie (Gerald), Darren (Wanda), Warren (Holly), Dori, Marlon and Carolyn; her brother Joe (Claudia); sisters, Evelyn (Pete), Patricia and Pauline (John); brothers-in-law, Rex, Hanks (Eileen), Glenn; and sisters-in-law, Alexandra, Lena (Arnold), Shirley, and Candy. Dorothy is also survived by the children she raised, Shirley, Eldon and Karen Cayen; two special grandchildren, Randall Drunken Chief and Andrew Leather; twenty-one grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; godchildren, Brian Drunken Chief and Joyce Many Bears; numerous nieces and nephews; and by extended family members, Big Snake, Breaker, Good Eagle, McMaster, Ayoungman, Doore, and Wolf Leg families. Wake Services will be held at Sister Celine Memorial Parish Hall in Siksika Nation, AB on Sunday, January 18, 2004 at 6:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (Siksika Nation, AB), on Monday, January 19, 2004 at 12:00 P.M. with the Rev. Ian GagnÚ, Presider.
