Obituary of Chris Leeferink

Chris Leeferink, beloved husband of Mrs. Jean Leeferink of Calgary, passed away at his residence in the arms of his family, on Thursday, January 15, 2004 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 73 years. Chris will be terribly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Jean; son and daughter-in-law, Hank and Sue of High River, AB; three stepdaughters, Cari and Phil Hauraney of Ottawa, ON, Marianne and Bernie Thiesen of Invermere, BC, and Pearl Bourgon of Saskatoon, SK; eight grandchildren whom he was so proud of Chris, Matt, Rachel, Ben, Amanda, Julie, Mike and Ryan. He is also survived by his sisters in the Netherlands, Willy (Wim) Lammertink, Inge (Henry) Wagenmans, and Rietje (Koos) Baars; his two nephews, four nieces, and the Eysermans family. A gathering of relatives and friends will be held in the Reception Room at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, January 23, 2004 from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M.
