Obituary of Donald Laird

Born June 2, 1915 in Edinburgh, Scotland, Donald Laird passed away peacefully on January 14, 2004 at the Bethany Care Centre, Cochrane, AB, at the age of 88 years. He leaves to mourn his passing, his daughter and son-in-law Joyce (Terry) Morey of Cochrane, AB, and his son and daughter-in-law Keith (Liz) Laird of Bolton, England. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Lee Morey and Erin (James) Kinch; his adored great-granddaughter Laeken; his nephew Peter Laird of Wishaw, Scotland; as well as other family and friends. His wife Margaret predeceased Donald in 1988. Funeral Services will be held at St. Giles Presbyterian Church (1102 – 23rd Avenue N.W.) on Monday, January 19, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev.
