Obituary of Clifford Samuel Joynt

Clifford (Cliff) Samuel Joynt of Calgary passed away at the Peter Lougheed Centre on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at the age of 78 years. Cliff is survived by his brother Thomas Joynt; sister Shirley Morgan; sons, Cliff Jr., Dale, and James; grandchildren, Christopher, Dustin and Kristyn; nieces, nephews and their families. A World War II veteran, Cliff’s interest in family and friends was accompanied by his passion to have the word Canadian included as a choice on the Canadian Census, and he was an original active participant in having that choice available today. A Gathering will be held in the “Fireside Room” at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, January 16, 2004 from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
