Obituary of Marie B. Chevrefils

Marie B. Chevrefils (nee Scott), beloved wife of Mr. Roger Chevrefils of Calgary, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Centre on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at the age of 73 years. Marie was born on June 23, 1930 at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Chatham, NB, the daughter of the late Charles and Stella Scott. She graduated at St. Michael Academy Chatham, and the Hotel Dieu School of Nursing, Class of 1951. She traveled extensively throughout Canada and the United States during Roger’s years in the Canadian Armed Forces. Marie is survived by her loving husband of fifty-two years, Roger; daughters Kristine (Ian) Mears, Janet Lynn (Paul) Currie and Michele (Jeff) Barat; grandchildren, Matthew (Shannon) Currie Holmes, Tanya Price, Charlotte Chevrefils, Jennifer and Nicole Mears, and Jason and Daniel Barat; great-grandchildren, Leona, Jadon and Skylor Currie; a sister Elizabeth (Leo) Mevel; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her parents, her daughter Margaret Ann, and her sisters Margaret Ann Scott, Kathleen Gilliss and Theresa (Moar) Kaifosh.
