Obituary of Rodger White

It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Rodger White of Calgary on Monday, January 5, 2004 at the age of 66 years. Rodger was born on October 23, 1937 in Swift Current, SK. He graduated from the University of Kansas in 1961 with a degree in Geology and worked for Mobil Oil for over thirty-five years. Rodger was actively involved with Rosedale / Wild Rose United Church. Rodger is survived by his beloved wife Dorothy; loving daughters, Jane (Jeff) Nantais of Sarnia, ON, and Jill (James) Crowdis of Calgary; his precious granddaughter Tori Nantais; a sister Marybelle White of Saskatoon, SK; a brother Rick (Michelle) White of Edmonton; Dorothy’s daughters, Stacey (Randy) Whalley, and Wendy (Jerry) Joseph; six grandchildren; as well as his “other child,” Kola, his dog; close relatives and many friends too numerous to mention. He was predeceased by his parents Ron and Isabelle White and Jane and Jill’s mother, Judy White.
