Obituary of Phillip Lou Tomie

Phillip (Phil) Tomie, beloved husband of Sheelagh Tomie of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Sunday, December 21, 2003 at the age of 68 years. Phil was born March 24, 1935 in Lethbridge, AB. He worked in Calgary and Lethbridge for numerous years in both the Trucking and Printing Industries. Phil was a long time member of Royal Canadian Legion Br. #285. All who knew him will remember him for his love of golf and especially his family. Besides his loving wife, Phil will be remembered by his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Bob Parkyn, and his son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Lucy Tomie; four grandchildren, Jarret and Crystal Parkyn, and Matthew and Kathleen Tomie; his mother Mary Tomie and sister-in-law Dianne Tomie; nephew Don Tomie; and numerous cousins. Phil was predeceased by his father Andy and his brother Larry.
