Obituary of Maxwell Everet Moss
It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Maxwell Everett Moss. Max of Calgary passed away at Rockyview General Hospital following a brief illness on Thursday, December 18, 2003 at the age of 87 years.
Max was born in Medicine Hat on April 22, 1916. He is survived by a brother Jack (Goldie) Moscovitch of Calgary; two daughters Deborah (Allan) Ross of Vernon, BC, and Shelley (Russ) Wright of Calgary, AB, a son Steven Moss of Calgary; six grandchildren, Jason, Julie, Jonathon, Cody, Ashley, and Dustin; and one great-grandchild Alexander. Max was predeceased by his wife Virginia, his father Israel, his mother Jenny and his sister Tootsie.
Graveside Service will be held at the Beth Tzedec Memorial Park (122 Shalom Way S.W.) on Sunday, December 21, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. A Celebration of Max’s life will follow at the Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club (12501 – 14 Street SW) from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the charity of the donor’s choice. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the nursing staff on Unit 61, of the Rockyview General Hospital.
