Obituary of Dorothy Terry

Dorothy Terry of Calgary passed away at the Foothills Hospital on Monday, December 15, 2003 at the age of 70 years. Dorothy was born on June 20, 1933 in Edam, Saskatchewan. She moved to Calgary when she was a young woman and worked here as a bookkeeper for thirty-five years. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Wendell and Priscilla Terry and Rod and Dixie Watson; three daughters and sons-in-law, Wendy and John Phillips, Wanda Terry-Allen and Micky Allen, and Wendalyn and Marty Mandelman; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. She is also survived by three sisters, Eileen (Bohdan) Hawryliw, Margaret (Valmont) Arsenault and Ruth Calder; and a sister-in-law Lillian Bandurka. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents and a brother Don Bandurka. An “Open House of Remembrance” for family and friends will be held at Dorothy’s residence (368 Northmount Dr. N.W.) on Sunday, December 21, 2003 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M.
