Obituary of Ida McKenzie

Ida Minnie McKenzie, of Calgary, passed away at the Agape Hospice on Monday, December 15, 2003 at the age of 89 years. Ida was born in Willow City, ND, came to Canada in 1921 and moved to Calgary in 1931. She is survived by one brother Henry Maurstad of Strathmore; a step-daughter Rae (Don) Bittorf of Edmonton; grandchildren Blair and Graeme both of Vancouver, Elizabeth and Keith Wensel of Edmonton, and Marin and Gerry Forsberg of Fort McMurray; and six great-grandchildren as well as many nephews and nieces of Calgary, California, and Texas. Ida was predeceased by her husband Morris McKenzie and parents Mathias and Petra Maurstad; four sisters, Lena Ingwersen, Mary Conkin, and Anne and Grace Maurstad; and one brother Olaf. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North), today, December 17, 2003 at 2:30 P.M. with Rev.
