Obituary of Norah Kathleen Bowman

It is with sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Norah Kathleen Bowman on Monday, December 8, 2003 at the age of 82 years. Kathleen proudly served her country in England, Italy and Holland as an officer and R.N. during World War II. She also worked in several Calgary hospitals as a Nurse and Nurse Manager. Kathleen is survived by her four sons, Ronald (Gail), Dean, David (Barbara), and Ken (Paula); and her five grandchildren, Keitha, John, Elizabeth, Kirsty and Hollis. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Dickson and Margaret Phillips; and brothers, Jack and Arthur Rowntree. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband George. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James’ Catholic Church (5504 – 20th Street S.W.), on Friday, December 12, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. L. Michael Storey, Presider.
