Obituary of Theodor Balan

Theodor Balan, beloved husband of Doris Balan of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Rockyview General Hospital on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at the age of 88 years. Theodor was born June 20, 1915 in Werefko, Ukraine and immigrated to Canada with his loving wife in 1952. Besides his loving wife Doris, Theodor is survived by friends Brenda, Marlene and Gerry, as well as numerous other Calgary friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at St. Stephen’s Ukrainian Catholic Church (4903 – 45th Street S.W.) on Tuesday, December 9, 2003, at 7:00 P.M. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Stephen’s Ukrainian Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 10, 2003, at 10:30 A.M. with the Rev. Rendall Yackimec Celebrant.
