Obituary of Ida Ethel Shoults

Ida Shoults of Calgary passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, December 4, 2003 at the age of 88 years. She will be remembered by her loving family, Gordon, Bob, Ken, Allan and their families; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Ida is survived by two sisters, Margaret Ross and Joan (Len) Armstrong; and a brother Fred Green. She was predeceased by her husband Howard; sisters Dorothy Bourne, Jessie Vandaele and sister-in-law Frances Green. Ida’s passions were oil painting, belonging to the Bragg Creek Artisans for many years, and her music the past ten years with the Harmonica Tabloid entertaining around Calgary. She celebrated fifty years with the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Calgary and belonged to the Native Calgarians. Ida was a gentle courageous spirit, loved by all. A Celebration of Ida’s Life will take place at the Bragg Creek Community Hall (23 White Avenue, Bragg Creek, AB) on Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at 1:30 P.M. with the Rev.
