Obituary of Grace Alberta Palko

Grace Alberta Palko (nee Munroe) of Calgary, passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Peter Lougheed Hospital on Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at the age of 85 years. Grace was born on December 24, 1917 in Spring Coulee, AB. Grace was a longtime resident of the Inglewood Community. She will be lovingly remembered by her many friends and family for her love of her garden, her quick wit, her independent spirit and her love of a good game of bridge or Scrabble. Grace is survived by her brother Malcom Munroe (Alice) of New Brunswick, her sister-in-law Jessie Munroe and several nieces and nephews. Grace was predeceased by her husband Tony in 1991. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Peter Lougheed Centre (Units 51 and 44) for their care and compassion as well as all of the staff at the Alexander Centre.
