Obituary of Anton Buttner

Anton (Tony) Buttner of Calgary passed away at the George Boyack (Carewest) on Sunday, November 30, 2003 at the age of 82 years. Tony was born on October 30, 1921 in Constanza, Romania. He immigrated to Canada in 1951 and farmed in both the Medicine Hat and Ponoka areas. Tony is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Bill Crawford of Ponoka, AB, Elfie and Doug Moe of Red Deer, AB, and Lisa and Richard Pearce of Ponoka, AB; seven grandchildren, Scott, Ryan (Krissy), Kim (Gary), Jeffrey, Sharon (Hugh), Shirley (Bruce), and Sheila (Ken); ten great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E., Calgary, AB), on Thursday, December 4, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Sean Smallwood of St. Matthew Lutheran Church officiating.
