Obituary of William Bill LAZARUK

March 18, 1923 – Canora, Saskatchewan July 23, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta William Lazaruk passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the age of 94 years at Bow View Manors. Bill was born on March 18, 1923 to Paul and Rita (Bodner) Lazaruk in Canora, Saskatchewan, the second oldest of three children. Bill is survived by nine children, Dianne Johnson, Theresa Lazaruk, Maurice (Shirley), Marjorie (Vic) Reykdal, Sharon (Gary) Lamoureux, Donald (Elsa), Elaine (Dennis) Lilley, Robert (Janine), Gerald (Nikki); 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Rita; sister Nettie in 1949, wife Leona (April 1986), brother John, daughter Cheryl, and son in law Dave Johnson. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at Varsity Acres Presbyterian Church (4612 Varsity Drive N.W.) on Friday, July 28 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the church.
