Obituary of Beatrice Linda RONALDSON

February 22, 1946 – Verdun, QC (Montreal) July 17, 2017 – Calgary, AB It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Beatrice Ronaldson at the age of 71 on Monday, July 17, 2017. Beatrice was in the care of family and friends at the time. She had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer in January 2017 and battled for 7 months, sadly succumbing to the effects of the illness. Beatrice was born and raised in Verdun, QC (Montreal) but decided to move in 1973 to Calgary, AB. She found the small town feel and mountain vistas a perfect place to raise her children, Tyrone and Delena. Always one for adventure Beatrice enjoyed both urban and rural living having lived in and around Mossleigh, Blackie and High River as well. Beatrice dearly loved and was deeply loved by her friends and family. To her grandchildren Amelia and Quaid, children of Tyrone, as well as Krystopher, Tyler and Kieran, children of Delena, she was endearingly known as “Grambea”. She is also survived by her sisters in Quebec; Cathy, Debbie, Theresa and Margaret as well as her brother in British Columbia, Brian. She was predeceased by the parents Harvey and Beatrice as well as Walter and Theresa. Throughout the years Beatrice had many friends but it was in the last months of her life that ones in particular provided valuable love and support. A debt of gratitude goes to Dallas, Glenda, James and Dean for their kindness. From Tyrone and Delena a very special and heartfelt thank you goes to Shelly for her love of Mom and her support at the time most needed. At Beatrice’s request there will be no service or memorial.
