Condolences
Dear Joy and Susan and families,
I just happened to learn about your father’s passing and with that the earlier passing away of your mother. I just wanted to say that I remember many good times with your parents when I was growing up. I really enjoyed reading the obituary of your Dad because it really captured his essence. He was a real character and a very special uncle when Teresa and I were small. Just to let you know then that I am thinking of you. Love and Sympathy. Leslie
Dear friends,
My sincere condolences to all of you. I just found out about Elmer’s death, and although I knew that he had been vulnerable for a long time it nevertheless shocked me deeply. It is strange how one can connect to people, if even if there is an ocean in between, and although we met only a few times while living in Canada. It must have been Elmer representing traditions from the past (which I am fond of), but for sure and most importantly his ability to radiate love even across Atlantic. I am proud that I belonged to his John Wayne inner circle, and whenever I am wearing my John Wayne T shirt, which I got from him via Susan after I got seriously ill, I will think of Elmer as one of the human beings you must have met: for me a role model forever.

Dear Susan,
I am so very to learn about your dad’s passing. I am thinking of you and your family during this challenging time. With love,

Dear Susan,
I am sorry for your loss. From what I read about your Dad, he certainly was a warm and kind person – very much like you. I hope you are doing the best you can at this time Susan.
Sincerely, Ruth Kohut
Dear Joy and Susan and families
We are very sorry to hear about uncle Elmer’s passing. It is hard when our parents age and leave us. When mom died I missed talking to her but then I remembered that I can still tell her everything and you both can do the same with your mom and dad. Big Hug.
Tara and Terry Costain
Dearest Susan. I was so sorry to learn of Elmer’s sudden passing. I know how special he was to you, and you to him. Just remember all the wonderful times you had with he and your mom.
You are in our prayers
Elmer was always friendly and gracious. I remember Schultz too and how fond both Elmer and Doreen were of him. He was a kind man with a big friendly personality. I hope he an Doreen are dancing up a storm in Heaven.
