Obituary of George KRAHN
January 5, 1935 – Rush Lake, Saskatchewan
June 14, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta
George Krahn passed away on June 14, 2017 at the age of 82 years.
George was born in Rush Lake, SK on January 5, 1935 and came to Alberta at the age of 5 years. He lived in Gem, Brooks and area and later moved to Calgary for a short period and eventually farmed in the Iddesliegh and Jenner all of his life. George then settled in Carmangay and Claresholm area and recently resided at Silver Willow in Nanton.
George was predeceased by his parents, John and Maria Krahn; two brothers John and Jake; three sisters, Annie, Marie and Susan. He is survived by two brothers, Pete (Helen) of Grande Prairie and Henry (Miriam) of Victoria, BC; a sister Helen Fjellstad of Calgary as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
