Condolences
Never a truer friend, or anyone more of a gentleman. He was so proud of each of you and mentioned your accomplishments often. You had a great man as your Dad, and I hope you appreciated him as much as I did, I loved him and will miss him dearly.

A fantastic Uncle and teller of tales who’ll be sadly missed.
Then let us pray that come it may,
(As come it will for a’ that,)
That Sense and Worth, o’er a’ the earth,
Shall bear the gree, an’ a’ that.
For a’ that, an’ a’ that,
It’s coming yet for a’ that,
That Man to Man, the world o’er,
Shall brothers be for a’ that.
Uncle Tommy was one of a kind. He was our support when we first came to Canada from Scotland, and continued his good will to our family for years. I still sing a song that he taught me, not that it is politically correct, but funny ! RIP Tom
I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I remember the parties your parent’s had in the basement at Merkley serving steak and kidney pie and dancing until dawn. The friendship our families had back then was very special. I know my mom often talks about your mom and how much she misses her. Neighborhoods are not the same nowadays. We shared a lot of good times over the years including my trip to Calgary for the 1988 Olympics. Your parents opened their home to me for ten days and I had a great time. They were special people. My heart and thoughts go out to all of you at this time. Mary
Thoughts & prayers are with all of Tom’s family @ this time! Tom was such an amazing man & we loved having him as one of our many guests @ our home for our “family/friend gathering meals”! Cherish the moments, he will certainly be missed! Dixie & Dave Stumpf….love & hugs!
Tom was a true character. He was always very kind and supportive of me through the years. He loved to organize a party and I will always remember his steak and kidney pies.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Miller family.
Sincere condolences to Tom’s family. I was his neighbor at Bankview House. He was a wonderful friend and we have missed him. Whenever I ran into him and we had a conversation, I would always say ” You sure add a lot of class to this place Tom, and he did. Rest in Peace dear friend. Esther #312
I don’t have a computer so Betty has put this note in for me,
To: Evelyn, Steve, Anne and your individual families,
Thinking of you and wishing you peace and comfort as you remember your dad and grandfather.
I especially like the picture you chose to display of him. He was indeed very proud of his heritage!
Love, Kathleen
