Condolences
I met Georgie in the late 70’s and consider myself blessed to have to have the priviledge of working with her at the Pleiades Theatre! I will always remember her smile and the way she made us work to perfect whatever show we were working on! She was, and is, a bright and shining star – one whose light will never truly waver! She gifted many of us with her passion and her girlish charm, wrapped up in a package of a very fine lady with a tremendous talent and love!
To Georgie’s family and friends, I offer my condolences and my thanks – there were times I am sure that she was taken away from you because of the craft that she loved so dearly.
“The sun, the moon, the wind, the stars, will forever be around, reminding you of the love you shared, and the peace she’s finally found.”
With Deepest Sympathy for the loss of your Mother, Wife, Friend.

I remember Georgie’s laugh and joy in the early days of Alberta Theatre Projects. I was so fortunate to meet her and learn from her. The Calgary theatre community was fortunate to have her as a mentor. Thank you for sharing your talents with so many people.

Georgie Collins was the director of “Out of the Frying Pan”, my introduction into ‘acting’. She was a charming, reserved, lady of class. I will always remember her for the introduction to the world of theatre that she offered! A happy memory!
To Georgie’s wonderful family our deepest condolences.
She was a wonderful ‘Star’ and we will miss her deeply.

Debi and family So sad to hear about Georgie! She was such a huge part of my life, my mentor and my friend. I quote her constantly – so many great Georgie stories. There will never be another!! Dwayne and I send our condolences and our love XO Vicky (Bertrand) and Dwayne Gosse
Debi and family, I was so honoured to know your Mom.
She was always fun and full of stories, with a twinkle in her eye.
In the over 34 years that I have known her, she was always a shining example of grace and resilience.
The last time I saw her, we had coffee with Shirley B Canfield and talked about her mischievous goings on at the Pleiades.
I loved how she would always grab my face and say, “oh my Patty, I have missed you”
She will always have a special place in my heart
Love and hugs to you all
