Mary Margaret Macomber passed away peacefully at Bethany Airdrie on Monday, May 1st, at the age of 98 years.
Mary was born in the rural district of Queenstown, Alberta on the family farm at Milo, AB, on May 29th, 1918. Mary was a teacher/librarian at The Prophetic Bible Institute for 9 years and was one of the founding staff members at Berean Bible College where she taught for 35 years. Mary faithfully attended Bethel Baptist Church (now known as Abundant Life Church).
Mary was predeceased by her father, George Edward on Feb. 24th, 1919; by her sister, Beverley Ethel on Dec 4th, 1965; and by her mother, Jessie Sibbald on May 15th, 1993.
She is lovingly remembered by family members and many friends as a lovely person with a sincere Christian faith, and a keen sense of humor.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, May 5th, 2017 at 10:00 am., with Pastor David Hunt officiating. Reception to follow at funeral home. Interment to follow reception at the Milo East Cemetery (Milo, AB).
