Condolences
Tara & family, Grandma June & my mother, Helen Silver were childhood friends & remained friends through the years. Your Mom was my childhood friend. We reconnected after many years through my husband Michael’s cousin Brenda. Tara, death is a challenge. It tells us not to waste time in expressing our feelings towards those closest to us. Michael & I want you to know that we are thinking about you during this sad time.
Some Great Laughs and Memories and as Life take us,some not so…may your journey take you where your Dreams have !!!.Love from your Buds Brent,Donna and Ted …Our Deepest Sympathy to all that new you .
To Ricky, Karen and Tara,
The photograph you have posted of your mom is exactly how I remember her. As a kid when your parents would come and visit.. The old neighbourhood of Renfrew and the sharing of pasta, bread and wine. Your Canadian family (your grandma and grandpa McMahon, then your mom and dad joined in) who had adopted my Italian immigrant parents and taught them about Canada, especially Calgary. There was never a dull moment. Watching Hockey Night in Canada on the TV in black and white, Pilsner Beer and a lot of yelling and cheering. It was an incredible time growing up knowing the McMahon family. Reading about the passing of your mom, and looking at her picture brought tears, smiles and old memories back to a life that seems like only yesterday, and yet so many years have passed. I am happy to have those memories and yes I will hug my kids and mother. Life really is about love, kindness and hugs. On behalf of the Arena and Montanini and families I extend to you and your families our condolences.
