Condolences
I haven’t seen Mrs. Traer in over 30 years. I was hoping to get out to Calgary and visit Alice this year and hopefully her mom. Unfortunately that didn’t happen, but I still have so many fond memories.
I was always a welcome addition at family gatherings and weekends at Deseronto. I had so much fun at the cottage with the Traers and Lou and Rollie. I remember how much Mrs. Traer loved to laugh and her joy in being around family and friends. I know how much Alice will miss her mom, but there is solace in knowing what a wonderful life she had and that the memories are forever.
My thoughts are with you and your family, Alice.

Such a beautiful obituary for your Mom/Nanny. She was referred to by you and Laura both, a number of times, as gracious, and you have portrayed that in her obituary so beautifully. Thinking of you at this time, and the Grace that was passed through the generations to you and Laura.
Fond Regards

I was introduced to Gladys and Fred as a young adult during my brother Mark’s engagement to my sweet sister-in-law, Alice.
The first time I met Gladys and Fred, I was struck by their obvious love and wittiness that they enjoyed with each other.
Ever since that day, spending time with Gladys was one of the highlights of my family trips to Calgary. Gladys was such a wonderful and positive person,
she could fill any room she was in with love and laughter. She will always be a precious part of the family.
As an Angel in this world, Gladys will be forever an Angel in Heaven.
Rest in Peace Gladys.
Lovingly,
Becky Wayne
