Obituary of Wanda Jean STEVENSON

February 20, 1955 – Calgary, Alberta February 3, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta Wanda Stevenson of Calgary passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017 at the age of 61 years. Wanda was born and raised in Calgary. She spent her career helping people, most recently enjoying assisting special children at Christine Meikle School. She loved her work and her children, she was sad to leave when her health prevented her from working. She always had a soft spot for the school and recently visited the new school over the Christmas break. For anyone who knew her knows that she always went into each project she was involved in feet first, she was active in the Union, loved to travel, spent countless hours painting sculptures, reading or watching classic TV programs and enjoyed evenings of dinner or movies with friends and family. Wanda leaves many co-workers, cousins and friends behind that she cared deeply for. Left to carry on her legacy is her Mother Lorna and her brothers and sisters-in-law Wayne and Cheryle, Warren and Shelley, and Wylie and Sue. Wanda loved every minute she was able to spend with her nieces and nephews, she tried to make it to every important moment of their lives, Left to lovingly remember their Aunt is Matt, Shannon, Jeff, Anisha, Krystin, Nick, Amanda, Nicole, Courtney, Kelsey, Brittney and Thomas. To make her life even more exciting she was thrilled to have two great-nieces Lochlyn and Maddison. Wanda was predeceased by her Father Findlay in 1993.
