Condolences
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Edith. Ken and I had many wonderful visits with her and Elmer. Recently I had a chance to see her and catch up and I will treasure that memory. She was such a lovely lady. My thoughts are with the family. Linda Wright
We are sorry to hear of Edith’s passing. She and Elmer were great friends and neighbors of the Wises’ for so many years and the wonderful memories are numerous. Edith was always such a friendly person and we very much enjoyed visiting with her whenever we saw her. Her and Mom (Blanche) are now together discussing a recent recipe and this spring’s flower garden. We are thinking of you all during this sad time.
Colleen, so sorry to read about your Mom’s passing. It was wonderful that you had her in your lives for so long. All the best to you and your family.
Lynn, Colleen and Lloyd,
Sending love and hugs to you all at this sad time. Auntie Edith was a special lady and will be greatly missed. I will always remember time on the farm in Irricana with her, bottle feeding calves, collecting eggs from chickens, picking veggies in the garden for dinner, driving out to the field with lunch during harvest. So many great memories.
Dear Lynn, Colleen, Lloyd and all of your families,
I send you deepest sympathy and love. I have memories of Auntie Edith and your family going back so many years to our family visits to Killdeer, Saskatchewan. Such a loving house Auntie Edith and Uncle Elmer made. Hers was a life lived in love and devotion to her family and friends. She was always a youthful and joyful soul, with an inimitable smile. A loving life.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.I feel so sad about our dear Edith she was a wonderful neighbor and friend. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I am very happy that she was my dear neighbor and friend, she bailed me out many times with all the silly mistakes I made with my crafts.I will miss going over to visit . Edith is out of pain and has joined her love ones probably has had a few dances with her beloved Elmer.
A life well lived. Auntie Edith was unbelievable in her strength, love, work ethic and devotion to family. Although that devotion extended to beyond her children and grandchildren to us nieces and nephews, every time I visited with her, she would talk with pride about Lynn, Colleen & Lloyd and their families. The grandchildren and great grandchildren kept her young at heart. Time for her to rest – we will all miss her dearly.
Dearest Lynn, Colleen, Lloyd, and all your families,
I am feeling very sad to hear of the passing of our beloved Edith, who brought so much joy to the world in everything she did. I send you all my love at this time of sorrow.
Your cousin,
Carolyn
