Condolences
Dear Jayda and Family – Just speaking to Cheryl Smith and wanted to extend my sympathy to you in the passing of your Dad. What a long life. May good memories give you peace.
Sincerely Grant Clark
My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of David. I met him only once but came to know him through the many people who knew him during his service in the RCAF. He and my father were crew mates on a Halifax heavy bomber crew and they left a stricken aircraft via parachute into captivity in Holland. I have done much research into their service and came across many wonderful tales of this delightful man. Meeting him was a signal event and he did not disappoint as he was the generous,. funny, forthright and irrepressible man I had expected him to be. He exuded fun and friendliness. His character will never be forgotten. Rest easy, sir.
My deep condolence to David’s family. I met David at Aircrew many years ago and he left a lasting impression. I always enjoyed his sense of humour and his happy outlook. He will never be forgotten.
Harry; I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Teresa, Mary and I wish you and your family our condolences and our prayers. We will see you soon
Hello Mr. R –
It’s Adele (Brunnhofer – from Broadcasting class). Dianne Brown told me of your loss and I send you and your family my condolences. She is going to find your contact information for me and I will get in touch. It would be really nice to catch up with you. Again, so sorry to you and your family for your loss.
Take good care.
Dear Jayda and your family,
Heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your father. I knew he was much loved and respected, but was impressed to learn of his wartime experience with the RCAF – an extraordinary gentleman who will be remembered and admired by so many.
To Jayda and all the family, my condolences on the loss of your father, David Rosenthal, who was a dear friend of my parents through the years.
Dear Jayda, Harry, Jim and Tala,
We are so saddened to learn about the passing of your dear dad, father-in- law, grandfather, uncle and friend to all. What an infectious personality he had, always cheerful, good- natured, friendly and helpful. Our dear mom, Doris Miller, considered him a dear friend.
May the warm memories you share bring you comfort in the days ahead and may his memory forever be a blessing.
With our heartfelt condolences,
Jacques and Lila Mydlarski
My sincere condolence goes to Jayda and Harry and other relatives. Dave was always a true friend to Albert and myself…….he will be missed greatly. Dave has closed the book on the “Group of Eight” from Riverside.
Jayda, Harry and the family of David Rosenthal, Jayda and I were just talking of your father two days before he passed away, and I want to send my wishes to you on behalf of my family, my brother, Duncan, and our parents Florence and Walter (both deceased). We were lucky to live next door to you on 40th Avenue and I am fortunate to have been able to keep up our friendship with Jayda through these fifty plus years. Our thoughts are with you and may David rest in peace.
