Obituary of Ralph Lorne Darcy STEPHENS

February 27, 1989 – Canmore, Alberta January 7, 2017 – Morley, Alberta It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of out beloved son, brother, father, nephew, uncle and cousin, Jim on January 7, 2017 at the age of 27 years. Jim was an outgoing respectful, humble, loving young man who greeted everyone with a hand shake. He lived a traditional way of life, and strongly believed in our Stoney Cultural events. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cousins and friends, especially his kids and god son Jayden Rabbit. Jim is survived by his children, Jamie, Darcy and Samantha; his parents Audley & Tilda Stephens; brothers John, Robert (Kara), his culturally adopted brothers Sherman R, Stevon, Sheldon, Little Wolf Norman Rider, Farrell Ear, Chris Mathie, Quinton Crazybull; his sisters Venora (Rowan) & Mary Stephens; nieces & nephews. Two grandmothers Joan Hunter & Bella Alexis; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, from Morley, Alexis, Eden Valley, Paul Band, North Dakota & B.C. We apologize if we have missed anyone. Jim was predeceased by his paternal grandparents John & Nora Stephens; maternal grandparents Nelson & Flora Rabbit; his culturally adopted brothers Charlie Shortneck & Willy Rabbit and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins to many to mention. Wake Services will be held at the residence Audley & Tilda Stephens’ Residence (Morley, AB) on Saturday, January 14, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at Morley Church (Morley, AB) on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Bearspaw Cemetery (Morley, AB).
