Obituary of Eliza HOLLOWAY

December 8, 1929 – Morley, AB December 24, 2016 – Calgary, AB Ena (Eliza) was called home by our Creator on December 24, 2016 at the age of 87 years. Ena believed in her traditional values. She participated in many Sundance Ceremonies, enjoyed Pow-Wow, Round Dance, baseball, hockey and rodeo. Her hobbies were tanning hides, making beadwork, spending time with her sisters and relatives and playing Bingo. One of Ena’s expertise was making Eagle’s Nest on the Sacred Sun Dance Tree, Nîmî-Châ. Ena is survived by her children Sheila (Ronald), Margaret (Evan), Glenna (Winston), Farrell (Jennifer), Mark (Priscilla) and Donna; 28 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; her dearest friend, sister-in-law Clara Ruby Snow; many adopted children, Ena had cherished from heart, Ferlin J. Lefthand, Farid Astani, Reggie Smalleyes, Bonita Jimmy John, Keith Lefthand and Lenny Wesley and her adopted grandson Narvil Kootenay; her sisters Winnie Francis and Alice (Arthur) Twoyoungmen; as well as many family members in Morley, Eden Valley, Amos, Stevens, Daniels, Holloway, Snow, Labelle, Francis Twoyoungmen, Hunters, Poucettes. Ena was predeceased by her husband Henry Holloway Sr., her son Franklin; grand daughters Amanda and Jonita; grandsons Edward, Brent and Rondi; and great grandchild Shia N. Wake Services will be held at the residence of Eliza Holloway (Morley, AB) on Sunday, January 1 and Monday, January 2, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at Morley United Church (Morley, AB) then to Bearspaw Youth Centre on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Bearspaw Cemetery (Morley, AB).
