Condolences
The world is much dimmer without Greg. Thinking of his family and friends today. Xo
Thank you to everyone who, over this past year, let us know of the love and respect you had for Greg. Your comments have overwhelmed us with the kindness and compassion you’ve shared.
We love you, Greg. Always and forever.
It’s coming up on a year that Greg has passed away, I felt so shocked and confused when this originally happened, I’m sure I was not alone in these feelings. He was such an amazing manager and mentor to me, it was hard to make sense of his passing. I hope his family knows and understands that a great many people felt the weight of his passing, because Greg was really such a wonderful person.
Greg helped me get setup as a contractor and treated me with the utmost respect on my visit to Calgary and the office. My condolences to his family.
I cannot express the great sorrow and love I feel for you Jill, Brian, Andy and Jennifer upon hearing of Gregs death.
I too have such fond memories of Andy Greg and Jennifer in the 70’s when I babysat. When Greg was just a little one, he was a bit mischievous, kind, and oh so cute. We would watch Dukes of Hazzard and play games. I can see from the condolences, that Greg still had these characteristics.
I cannot fathom the loss of a child, brother, partner and friend.
You all will be in my thoughts in days to come. I am so very sorry.
Greg hired me 4 years before and he is one of the best managers I ever worked for, such a good hearedt person and great mentor for my career growth. I will miss him. My condolences to his family, friends and my former co-workers.

Please accept my sincere condolences to all of the Hauck family during this difficult time. I wish you peace and comfort in the days and months ahead. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.
Greg will be missed.

We only met Greg twice, on two different visits to Calgary. The first time was in a restaurant setting, with much fun and hilarity coming from the area where he was sitting. The second time was in a home setting. On each occasion we were struck by Greg’s warmth and congeniality. It is impossible to think this vibrant young man is now gone. We send our utmost sympathy and our thoughts and prayers to Jenn and her family. Ted and Vivienne Eaton, Manitoulin Island.
Jenn, Jennifer and family,
You are in my thoughts during this difficult time. May you find comfort and solace from the shared memories and out pouring of love from those that surround you.

Brenda Finch

As we all are, lost for any words that can even remotely express my sadness with the passing of Greg. My heart goes out to you and family..
From the days of trying to update Gregs clothes during my Eddie Bauer days to sitting in that ugly green chair in his office with your dog in my lap..
I will always remember and cherish my times and laughter ….
Bruce Manning ( Vancouver Island)
We have no words to express our sorrow to the entire family, we know what he meant to you all. His sense of humour was legendary and pulling funny stunts on you all us included. Please know you are all in our thoughts at this sad time.
I worked with Greg for many years. Although always remotely from the US as I never got to meet him in person. He was always a joy to work with, was very dedicated and provided tremendous support for those of us in the US that had to complete projects in Canada. He will be greatly missed by everyone at his workplace.
I am very sorry to hear about Greg’s passing. He was a very kind and patient man, always willing to go that extra mile to help. He used to bring his doggie in to the office on occasion which always brightened my day.

Please accept my deepest condolences. I had only known Greg for a few years but we shared the same floor for that time so I got the opportunity to chat with him quite often. He always said that IT guys were so introverted but he continuously did extroverted things to please others and make them smile. He was a fantastic individual who helped others willingly. We will miss him at the office.
I’m so sorry for your loss and may God help the family pass this difficult time. Greg was a great person to work with and he will be deeply missed.
So very sorry for your loss. Such a difficult time! Wishing you and yours some peace during this time.
Rest in Peace Greg. I will always remember him for being a man of kind.
So sorry for your loss. Greg was a good friend and trusted person who I’ve known since his days at Merak on the IT team. I have always enjoyed working with Greg for his humor and outlook on life and the world will be less for his loss.
While I did not know Greg personally, I wanted to pass along a note that I meant to send to him after a recent work awards ceremony on Wednesday, last week. He presented Marc Crowther with his 15 year service award but also gave him a personalized award, likely made by himself. That and his kind words to Marc, made me realize that he obviously was a great and caring boss and very kind towards his staff. Out of all those presenting awards, Greg seemed to be most in tune with his group and I can speak from my experience that his help on the IT side here in our office was always greatly appreciated. I am so sorry for your loss, it will be a loss for all of us.
I am absolutely saddened to hear of Greg’s passing. Having worked with him for the better part of the last 10 years, it was always a joy to have him around as a colleague and a friend; to be able to pop into his office and have pleasant chats about pretty much anything. I know in my heart that he will be missed tremendously.
My deepest condolences to Jenn and his entire family.

My condolences to all of Greg’s loved ones. He will be missed.
I’m sorry this happened. Greg was always nice, and cheerful. He was kind hearted and a friend to everyone. He worked with me at Co-op, and my brother. I have a picture of him at my brother’s wedding. I remember him at my brother’s wedding because he was part of their wedding party. The picture I have is of him holding my oldest son, and they both looked very handsome. I’m so sorry this happened.

As a long time member of the Schlumberger Canada IT Team in Mount Pearl, NL, I have worked with Greg from across the country for the last 15 years and consider him a trusted friend as well as a colleague.
