Obituary of George Elias GHANEM

October 1, 1989 – Calgary, Alberta December 1, 2016 – Kelowna, British Columbia It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our precious son. George Ghanem beloved son of Tony and Yowla Ghanem of Kelowna, BC formerly of Calgary passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 1, 2016 at the age of 27 years. George was born in Calgary and graduated from St. Mary’s High School. After graduation George worked with his father in the family automotive business and recently received his appraisal and estimator certification with ICBC. In September 2016 George and his family moved to Kelowna where he opened his own Body Shop-Fix Auto. Besides his loving parents George is survived by two younger brothers; Joshua and Noah. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother Wadad Nasr of Calgary, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Calgary and Lebanon. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N) on Sunday December 11, 2016 at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace Maronite Catholic Church (504 – 30 Ave. NW) on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m..
