SCHOFIELD, Jason Dean August 21, 1974 – Calgary, Alberta October 26, 2016 – Calgary, Alberta Jason Schofield of Calgary, Alberta, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the age of 42 years. Jay worked in construction and loved spending time with family and friends. He was always so proud of his beautiful children. Jay was an avid hockey and football fan, his favorite teams being the Edmonton Oilers and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Jay is survived by his mother and step-father, June and Joe; the mother of his children, Lava and her partner Jason; Son and daughter-in-law; Burke and Kendra; Daughter, Callysta; Grandchildren, Ava and Everett; Brothers and sisters-in-law, Trent and Christine, Kyle and Heather; Sister, Kim; Step-brother, Chad; Step-sisters, Candace and Charissa; Nephews, Nate, Jax, Caellum, Maxim; Nieces, Lily, Fynnlee, Cooper, Kiede; and numerous other family and friends. Jay was predeceased by his father, Larry; Close friends, Steve and Clint.
