Obituary of Joyce Walker BOULTON

May 11, 1922 – Edinburgh, Scotland September 16, 2016 – Calgary, Alberta Joyce Boulton of Calgary, AB passed away on September 16, 2016 at the age of 94. Much loved mother to Alison (David), Christopher (Jillian) and Rosemary; grandmother to Erin, Corey (Kim) and Lucy and the ‘greats’ Macie and Kyra. She was predeceased by the love of her life George in July 2014, a happy marriage of 68 years. Mum dedicated her life to her home and her family. She loved a long brisk walk in the Alberta sunshine, her garden, long drives and her watercolour painting. A lifelong reader and dedicated volunteer, Joyce attended the CPO and Theatre Calgary for years. She loved to play bridge and dominoes with her many friends. Mum passed quietly, at peace with the world. She is deeply loved and will be missed. Sincere thanks to Ferdie Bautista, Herlyn Tomas and DK Meara for their love and care of Mum over the past four years. Special thanks to all the wonderful people who work tirelessly at the Beverly Centre Glenmore to make the residents’ days so much better. A Memorial Service will be held at the Anglican Parish of St. Mark and St. Philip (1802 – 33 Avenue S.W.) on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes maybe made directly to the Auxiliary Fund at the Age Care Beverly Centre Glenmore.
