Obituary of Earl Robert LARDEN

(1937 – 2016) Earl Robert Larden passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the South Health Campus, on September 3, 2016. Born April 24, 1937 in Turtleford, Saskatchewan to Clarence and Ethel (Reeve) Larden, Earl spent his early years in Spruce Lake, Saskatchewan. He touched the lives of many people through his long career as an educator, retiring from the Calgary Board of Education in 1994. Earl will be lovingly remembered by Bonnie, his wife of fifty-four years; his daughter Stephanie Larden and son-in-law Bob MacDonald; grandsons William and Benjamin MacDonald; sister-in-law Rita Johnston (John MacDonald); brother-in-law Neil Johnston (Shirley); and sister-in-law Joan Larden. Earl is also survived by his aunt Margaret Reeve; numerous cousins; many nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren; and a host of long-time friends. Earl was predeceased by his brother Lynn. A Celebration of Earl’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Saturday, September 17 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
