Obituary of Maddalena Madeline MORGAN

January 2, 1949 – San Giacomo diCerzeto, Italy August 20, 2016 – Kelowna, British Columbia Maddalena Morgan, beloved wife of Raymond Morgan of Calgary, Alberta, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the age of 67 years. Madeline had a Masters in Education which she used to teach for over thirty-five years. She spent twenty-five of those years working for the CBE, and retired in June of 2009 from Highwood French Immersion Elementary School. She was actively involved with her church programs including the RCIA program and she also coordinated the Sunday School at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Parish (formerly known as Our Lady of Grace). She was an avid reader, and enjoyed crocheting. Madeline spoke several languages, and was fluent in English, French, Italian, Albanian, Spanish and also spoke Latin and German. Madeline is survived by her husband, Raymond Morgan; Her sons, Robert and Stephanie, John-Francis and Sarah; Grandchild, Claire; and numerous extended family and friends. The family of Madeline Morgan would like to thank the staff at the Kelowna General Hospital for their kindness and care. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Parish (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
