Obituary of Christian Guy KELLEY

January 23, 1965 – Kenora, Ontario August 18, 2016 – Calgary, Alberta Christian Kelley, husband of Bronwen Kelley of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the age of 51 years. Chris was born in Kenora and moved to Winnipeg at a young age, where he spent most of his life. After graduating from university he moved to Calgary to pursue his career as a Geologist. Chris played football with the East Side Eagles when he was young and was a member of The Fort Garry Horse from ~1982-1993 where he attained the rank of MCPL. He made many longtime friends during this time. Chris loved nothing more than searching for rocks and fossils, fishing and camping with his beloved daughter Brynn. He also had a love for trains and travelled across Canada with his family by train in 2010. His hobbies included playing guitar with his friends, building models and restoring his 1969 Javelin. Chris is survived by his wife, Bronwen and their beloved daughter, Brynn; mother, Mary Dalinger of Kelowna; brother, Sean and Rhonda Kelley (Justine and Mason) of Winnipeg, MB; as well as extended family and friends. Chris was predeceased by his father, Guy Kelley. A celebration of Chris’s life will be held at Riverwood Church, 325 Talbot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., Condolences may be forwarded through .
