Obituary of Alice PALMER

July 21, 2016 – Calgary, Alberta
Alice Palmer, beloved wife of Wayne of Calgary, passed away on July 21, 2016 at the age of 70 years.
Born on November 14, 1945 in Dokkum, Netherlands, Alice immigrated to Canada in 1954. After meeting her soul mate, Alice married Wayne in 1967. Alice was a fantastic cook and loved to have family, friends and the dogs over for meals. Known as “Granny” to her grandsons, the boys spent more time with her and Grandpa, than at home.
Alice is survived by her husband Wayne; daughters Michelle and Marnie (Mike); grandsons Brayden and Cameron; brothers Poke, John and Roy; and sisters Verna and Rita.
Alice was predeceased by her parents Audrey and John Prins; brothers Cecil and Peter; and sisters Rennie and Claire.
A special thanks to friends Anne and John Dousett and Betty Ann Crawford for all of their support, and to Agape Hospice, the Palliative Care team and the staff from Bayshore Home Health for taking such good care of Alice.
