SHAFER, Matteo Joseph March 2, 2007 – Calgary, AB July 17, 2016 – Calgary, AB Matteo Shafer, beloved 9 year old son of Carla and Kent Shafer and brother of Domenic, of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue NE) on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In honour of Matteo, we would like all attendees to wear blue, his favourite colour to Prayers and Mass.
