Condolences
I miss you Ken... I wish we could jump in the car and head-out on a road trip with some Johnny Cash in the background
in 1977, i worked with ken at CNR/via rail. it was my first job out of high school. i was 17 years old & ken invited me to go flying with him. it was one of the loveliest adventures in my young life. though i only worked with ken for a year, i have never forgotten him...his generosity, to take me - a pimply-faced teen - under his wing, literally, & go flying with him was such an adventure. he even let me fly that little plane myself! as we soared over the wheat fields of alberta, my heart soared, too. the beauty of it, the thrill of it. even though it has been several years since ken's death, i came upon his obituary quite by accident & just had to share my poignant memory of him with his family...thank you. & may you rest in peace, dear ken...jo jordan

Dear Mary, Carly and extended family,
Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved Ken. I had the pleasure of spending some memorable times in Calgary with your fun and dynamic family. Ken was a charming, easy going and wonderful guy to know and will be surely missed. Our family send you best wishes for the strength to take you through these trying times. Sincerely, Hugh and Alva.
I went to Junior High and High School with Ken in Medicine Hat. He was the nicest and sweetest guy ever. So very sad to hear of his passing
The cottage will not be the same without “Kenny”. His dry sense of humour combined with his practical solutions will be sorely missed as will his considerable BBQ ing skills. Ken always had a kind word and a kind deed for everyone. While your time with us was far too short we will always be grateful for having known. You will be fondly remembered. Ed, Margie, Molly, Katie and Bryce.
Dear Mary, Delphine, Dale and family
Ken will remain in our hearts forever.
Being a friend for over 40 years and only just having had a wonderful long conversation with Mary last week, my heart goes out to you, Carly and family.
Mary & Carly,
Thinking of you both during this very difficult time. No words will comfort you right now I am sure. Take comfort in your family and friends. My sincere condolences.
Love
Karen & Kevin
We will miss a great brother in law and travel quide extraordinaire. Ken loved to travel and explore and we shared this pleasure with Mary and Ken.
We will have many great memories to remember him by. The artful pictures he took of those trips will keep his presence close.
We love you and our deepest condolences to Mary and Carly.
Rest in peace Ken.
Mary and Carly,
Please accept our heartfelt sympathies on the loss of your loved one; you’re both in our hearts and prayers.

Mary, we cannot put into words how Ken’s death has affected us. Never knew Ken that long, but the time we did spend with the two of you in Arizona will forever be implanted in our memories. We had a lot of good rides together. Ken was certainly a gentleman and will forever bring a smile to our faces when we think of him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Carly, Larry and Liz
