I met Alerin a couple of years ago through his neighbors Diane and Borris Sadownick as a result of expressing an interest in shooting Sporting Clays. Alerin and I enjoyed several trips to Silver Willow where he generously shared his skill and enthusiasm for the sport he loved. He will be missed.
Saskatchewan Roughriders, Corner Gas, fly-fishing, bunny hugs… some of the things that will always remind me of Alerin Nicol. He was a tough SOB with a heart of gold. Words are never sufficient to describe a loss such as his. Taken far too soon. RIP friend. You are missed.
Thinking of you Selene and all of your family, may you find comfort in family and friends. Love and prayers at this time of sorrow.
I am saddened to read about Alerin. My condolences to Selene and Anita, and to all of his family. I’m certain he will be missed by many, but he is at peace after his battle with a horrible disease.
-Thinking of you all,
