CONSUL, Shakuntla November 25, 1930 – Bulandshahr, India June 4, 2016 – Calgary, Alberta It is with great sadness that the family of Shakuntla Consul announce her departure to her heavenly abode on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 8:46p.m., in her Calgary home, after a long and courageous battle with Cancer. Shakuntla was born in Bulandshar, India and arrived to Calgary in 1967. Shakuntla is survived by her loving husband, Prem Chandra; her children, Kalpna (Padam), Piyush (Ritu), Gita, Jyoti (Michael) and Harish; her grandchildren, Shalini, Sapna, Dev, Karishma, Priyanka, Anjalika, Ved, Gautam, Teja, Shefali, Sunil, Rakesh and Mohan; brother Surendra Kumar Gupta; nephews and niece, Ashok, Alok, Mukul, Pradeep and Mridula. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 2:00p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
