Obituary of Gordon Douglas COLEMAN

February 15, 1945 – Cornwall, Ontario May 22, 2016 – Calgary, Alberta Gordon “Joe” Coleman of Calgary, AB, after a courageous battle with cancer, passed away on May 22, 2016 at the age of 71 years. Joe had a varied career in the hospitality industry as a server and bartender. He also owned and operated pizza parlors, a real professional. The last ten years he worked at The Peanuts Public House in The Carriage House Inn and recently received his ten year pin. He had many friends and his quick wit kept everybody entertained. Joe is survived by his brothers, Ron Coleman of Edmonton, AB and Norm Coleman of Delta, BC; sister, Gail Mergle (Ken) of Edmonton, AB; nephews and nieces, Ronald, Allison, Kenneth, David, Candace, Trevor and Sean. Joe was predeceased by his parents, Fredrick and Mary and his brother, Al Coleman. No Funeral Service will be held at Joe’s request. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
