Code Family, Please accept my deep condolences and heartfelt thoughts on the passing of a true Gentlemen and Friend. I truly enjoyed his friendship over the many years.

My wife and I send our thoughts to Peggy and family. Bill was most gracious to come to my mothers service and my memories of Bill, Fred Bill Senior and Les endure.

Bill certainly contributed to the City of Calgary, The province of Alberta and the Alberta legal profession. Quite an accomplishment.

He is part of a very notable generation that is passing, especially in Alberta and they and he will surely be missed.

By chance I read of Bill Code’s passing in yesterday’s Globe and Mail. I send my condolences to Peggy and her children. He was an outstanding Canadian citizen. I didn’t know Bill but knew Peggy very well as my sisters Jane and Isabelle, fellow nurses, and I were part of the of the gang when we were all growing up around the village of Ayr in Ontario.

Kelly and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you in this difficult time.
