Obituary of Glenn Ronald BILTON

BILTON, Glenn Ronald June 4, 1927 – Stettler, Alberta April 25, 2016 – Calgary, Alberta Glenn Bilton of Calgary, AB, passed away on April 25, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Glenn was born in Stettler, raised on the farm in Youngstown and moved with the family to Calgary in 1941. Glenn was very active with St. Andrew United Church and was a long-time volunteer at Glenbow Museum. He will be remembered as a loving father & grandfather and as a quiet gentleman. Glenn is survived by daughter and son-in-law Sheila and Wayne Swan of Calgary and granddaughters Jennifer and Haley. He will be missed by sister-in-law Arlene McCall and brother-in-law Derek Spooner as well as his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Glenn was predeceased by his beloved wife Betty of 46 years, grandchildren Joshua and Reanna Swan in infancy and Sister Myrna Spooner. A Celebration of Glenn’s Life will be held at Deer Park United Church (77 Deer Point Road S.E.) on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Lois Punton presiding.
