Obituary of Patricia Ann MCCUTCHEON

December 13, 1937 – Regina, Saskatchewan April 14, 2016 – Calgary, Alberta Patricia Ann McCutcheon, beloved wife of Gordon Elgin McCutcheon went to her eternal home on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the age of 78 years. Pat was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, December 13, 1937. She married Gordon in 1959 and moved to a farm near Ardath, Saskatchewan. In 1967, Pat, Gordon and family moved to Calgary, Alberta. Pat resided in the family home until January 9, 2015, at which time she became a resident of the Beverly Glenmore Care Centre. Pat was a wonderful wife and mother, who took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook and kept excellent care of her home. Pat was also an active member of First Alliance Church where she sang in the choir for many years. She was busy doing many different types of crafts but the main one was knitting. These numerous items have been retained by family and will be continually cherished. Pat took great pleasure in giving children’s sweaters she knitted to missions and orphanages worldwide. Pat is survived by her husband, Gordon; sons, Stan (Heather) , Brian (Barb); daughter, Janet (Vel); nine grandchildren, Christopher, Tiffany, Ryan, Lance, Jessica, Stanley, Cynthia, Rebecca, Pamela; nine great grandchildren, Anna, Seth, Alexis, Harley, Sawyer, Kylie, Braden, Shaelyn and Eden. Pat was predeceased by her father and mother, John and Elsie Denvir; and her grandson, Blair. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street S.E.) on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. (4th Street & 31st Avenue N.W.) Funeral Services will be held at First Alliance Church, (12345 – 40th Street S.E.) on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through .
